Im pretty sure what youre asking for Drag is not within the limits of BF2. Dont know for sure, but it sounds like wishful thinking.

This is definitely NOT the way to get your ideas implemented in the mod.  A lot of people are working very hard here to put together a quality mod.  One that's fun to play AND as accurate as we can be.  Lord Vader told you the problems with the accuracy of the idea, SCHRifle let you know we were discussing it.  If you really need it that badly, take the mod after we release it, model your own xwing, code it, test it, and play it by yourself.

or maybe control R2 from inside ur vehicle, so u can control the power management smile

What no droids? But that is what made Star Wars become what it is. Sorry but no droid is just another thing that could possibly kill this mod.

i did suggest droid originally but it wouldnt make gameplay as fun.. we have discussed this, but who knows things change..

Rongo Bongo I think its fun to be the r2d2 and look at the tie fighter flying after u.  It would be really easy to put this is the game then powerup the ties laser to make it even. I dont get how u guys dont get it. If this feature isent in the game. The game might never reach my computer shame i thought this was a star wars mod gess i was rong. Plus people dont! have to get in as r2d2 If they dont want to. I still say this should be in the game this is why i love GC space battles. (Other then that damn water). It helps TEAMWORK witch bf2 needs more.
