Re: Death Star MAP

The G.C. Death Star map was great, and still had a lot of potential for improvement. My list of suggestions, just for the Heck of it:

- Spawning fighters inside invisible "one-way boxes" that you can fly out of, but not shoot into, instead of on that infamous platform that killed so many beginners.

- Walkways under the surface of the Death Star instead of leaving people to walk around in the vacuum on the surface.

- Don't allow people to walk around on the surface.

- One-way force fields in front of TIE hangars that let the TIEs fly out, but prevent rebels from firing in.

- Perhaps include the Deflection Towers around the map in some way or another (whatever the Heck their purpose was). Maybe you couldn't get into the trench before they were destroyed? I picture them and dense, heavy AAA around them.

- Place a number of turbo lasers in the trench. C'mon, you know you want to tongue .

- Give us back us one-hit-one-kill Turbo Laser Towers of Doom.

I didnt realise youd played FirstStrike? wink

Preacher has it all under control, dont worry. His vision is very movie orientated. Eg. no walkin on the surface etc.

Re: Death Star MAP

Very good news, Bandu!

Only other question, if I may, is whether or not the Y-Wing will be a two-seater. In G.C., the two-seater model greatly helped the Alliance fighters survive the trench run, but it was not exactly accurate to the movies.

Sure it was fun, but not very accurate to the movies. And don't get me wrong, I loved that map, except when it lagged like Heck on my slow computer.
