Orbital Bombardment will just be the Imperial form of artillery fo the Hoth map.

the Empire didn't needed a orbital bombardment anymore:

1. they could handle it with the at-ats, at-sts and ground troops
2. most of the rebels already left planet by cargoships
3. Lord Vader is on the planet (they don't wanna kill him during a strike)

O.O u can use that shield around the hoth base ur right!
and make the vheicle that generates it the little power generator
but make sure the generator is outside the shield...
and u have kablooey!

Anyway, no artillery for Rebels on Hoth, right? Actualy I can't think of any location that used artillery, for either sides.

Imperials had Star Destoryers for orbital bombardment.
Rebels probably won't get arty on Hoth but if they do it'll probably be mortar crews.
