Re: Fighter Armaments/Stats: Suggestions

What's the lore department for? As in is it just the forum or for the mod?

The lore department are the teams reseachers; Drag and Dutch Razor. Their (Basic) job is to collect pictures for the modellers/skinners and information for the coders.

Re: Fighter Armaments/Stats: Suggestions

@Kampher, I mean the X-Wing games. According to the books the X-Wing is uber.

@All the talk of Defenders during Endor, they weren't there in the film so its not canon.

Re: Fighter Armaments/Stats: Suggestions

The turrets never moved in the movies, no. But the starwars.com databank says:

The Y-wing's primary weapons are twin forward-firing laser cannons, housed in a recessed slot in the front of the cockpit module. A secondary weapon is a turret-mounted paired set of cannons. Though many Y-wings fly as single-pilot fighters, some sport a two-seat configuration with a rear-facing tailgunner operating the turret cannons.

If you're referring to my planetary versions, bombs would be useless in space (thing battlefront and gravity) (I never got why the TIE had bombs in Ep 5); and torps would be too good on the gorund (as you could shoot from miles away and never get shot down. I think its a necessary sacrifics of accuracy for balance.

Im talkin about the single and double seaters.

Oh, and the TIE bombs could be explained by propulsion , tho it is only a movie ..and whether the movie is realistic or not , as you said, it is canon.

the asteroid was very big, and it rotated, so it had gravity (those one the MF flew in --> was actually a spaceworm who lived in one), so the Imperial pilots knew the MF was in some of those holes and that's why they sent TIE bombers to bomb those asteroid
