BF2 and 2142 already have that (landing gear on planes and choppers)

POE2 had opening doors on the Hind Chopper, which was cool as you could then shoot out the door (instead of a tiny window).

I know, but there's not much point in having them if they don't do anything.

I'm happy to go with the Rogue Squadron model (no shooting and goes faster). Then the X-Wings could be made slower overall to compensate.

I have to agree with him. Even if it's not on the record, RS was made by Lucas Arts...

That way sounds much more interesting and fun. But if you happen to do that, dont make it too fast. That way you cant have a noob in an Xwing run away. cool

So was the X-Wing series, and the S-Foils didn't make you go faster in that.
