The hutt crime lords still make sense to me.  They have Gamorreans guards ,  Weequay Skiff Guards , Bounty hunters ect that could be used for the different classes. You already have some vehicles from the movies also that could be used ( skiffs , Jabba's sail barge )

The scenario could be that because of the increased activity within the Rebel alliance , the Empire has been forced to scale back its garrison on tatooine to reinforce other garrisons on other worlds, thus weakening their position on the planet. Jabba is aware of this and decides to launch an attack on the remaining forces  in attempt to seize control of the planet.  While Jabbas forces attempt to gain control of the surface , his allies , the Space pirate faction ( Might aswell marry the two together as they are both in the crime business and it would also allow for both land and space battles) are engaged in a series of small space battles above the planet against the remaining Imperial supply ships and their escorts.

I know its not a very likely scenario ,  i still think that it has the potential though to be the most interesting and fun to play. ( Could a tusken faction really work? , wouldnt you be abit limited in what you could do with them? )

Well I have a few ideas for Tuskens as Bandu has a few for the Quarren.

heres a challenge for you guys try and find a race there with images that has real potential. Bare in mind the following

1) the skeleton has to resemble that of the characters ingame now, heightwise and humanoid
2) the race needs to have depth, history and be anti rebel or anti imperial (cut and dried case)
3) the species must be sentient
4) piccies to back up your case!
