Anyways...Implantable microchips? Why bother? We leave a DNA trail where ever we go. Our cell phone signals can be triangulated. Most cellphones can easily be hacked into, to reveal call logs. Why bother with crudy chips? You worry too much, let the future take care of itself wink

Re: Habeus Corpus - rip

Hmmm seems that the Military Commisions Act has been put into law illegally.

The congress passed the MCA and adjourned at the end of September. Bush only just signed it on the 17th Of October.

Now according to the US Constitution Act 1 Sect 7  if congress passes a law , then adjourns ...the president has 10 days to sign it (exl. Sundays) . If he doesnt sign it in time then the law is vetoed.

Therefore , since it took Bush about 17 days to actually sign the MCA , then it is NOT a law. It is in fact called a Pocket Veto

Unfortunately you have your Constitution slightly wrong here:

If any Bill shall not be returned by the President within ten Days (Sundays excepted) after it shall have been presented to him ... unless the Congress by their Adjournment prevent its Return, in which Case it shall not be a Law.

The date the bill was presented for signing was October 10th, though it was passed on September 29th. Which makes it (according to this clause) 6 days from the presentation.

lol Okay that one I'll give to you. Your right, and its never a bad thing to have the public on it's toes. And your right, thats exactly what saved us way back when.
However the two times are MUCHOS differentos. Back in the revolution we had no guys in parliment fighting for us. No representation. No say in what our tryannts wanted to do wtih us (cept open rebellion). Its different now, becuase the system the founding fathers put in place works.
America is more polarized now than ever before (not counting the annoying hicks and their war to ensure continued slavery of millions). Its split pretty damn close to 50-50. And not only that, but the arguements aren't little thingys on the back burner. Both sides feel INCREDIBLEY strong about their ideals as for whats best for the country (Dems an Reps). Now am I not right at saying that most dems, and a large handful of republicans hate the man's guts? Seriously. They honestly hate the man! He can do nothing right in their eyes. The masses think our economy is bad right now. When in fact the tax cuts work. But thats not the point.
The point is that half of our goverment opposess and holds power over bush. The ACLU for instance oppose every single thing the guy's ever done. His political opponents are allowed to go on air and talk to the public about this. They've already convinced half the public on Bush's evil.
Our media is completely open. Anything they can they'll post, even if its a national secret, and even if it will hurt the war effort. The british media is a tad different in that aspect.
Look my point is that Bush hasn't exactly won our hearts and minds. He dosn't intend too. He dosn't want to be popular he just wants to hit the terrorists hard. Then leave and see everything he's done reversed. The second the republicans loose control of the congress (IF that happens...) bushes tax cuts? Gone. The war in Iraq? Lost. Any reforms the dems dont particulary like, which include half the things your talking about, gone. Congress holds the power. Bush can't get anything done without them. They can squeeze off funding of the war like they did in vietnam.
I trust Bush's enemys to guard against any phantom takeover. They are not concerned about this. Not. Concerned. Why should I be? They know they hold the power.

There are obvious differences between now and the revolution era. However, there is great similarities and as time goes on, the way we/you are heading , these similarities will become more and more glaring to the point that the normal citizen , who gets their perspective from such people as O'Reilly etc , wont be able to turn a blind eye.

People talk about pre emptive wars in the ME ..but they cant see the danger thats heading their way domestically. I ,and many others , can.

As for Iraq. It wont be won for a long time because we dont want to win it. We want to break the country into sections and have continous civil war..to enable us to setup permanant military bases and , in effect, control the country and use it as a base (along with Afganistan) to take over more of the ME. Oh, and get rich.
You may remember that 2 SAS Commandos were arrested in Iraq for dressing up as Muslims and murdering Iraqi policemen. The British army rolled up in tanks ( which included one of my mates ..he is a tank driver) and broke these SAS terrorists free. This is just 1 example of increasing the amount of civil war ( another false flag operation ) in Iraq. As a result of the escalating civil war we are setting up concrete , permanant military bases ..which are mainly setup around the Oil lines.
I get alot of my info from my mate who has to go to Iraq every now and then. I can tell you that 90% of the troops that he knows/sees thinks this war is a joke ( joke may be the wrong term...fraud may be better) ... the troops know exactly whats goin on.

Re: Habeus Corpus - rip

President Bush has made some mistakes (look at the FDA board), but if there is something he has straight, it's this, President Bush has defended the country at the cost of a large part of his popularity, political standings, and general power and he will continue as long as he stays in office. His drive to defend the country, strengthen our economy, and improve our courts is extremely noble and respectable. I also will note that Hitler told the world of his atrocities against mankind before he ever made them. I believe that President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will also do as he has said, should he receive a chance. I also would also like to point out that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was elected based on who will best follow Fundamentalist Islam. That being said, it is easy to figure out what he is going to attempt to do. Islamic Fundamentalists follow the Shariah. Notable points of the Shariah are this Sharia does not recognize pluralism in the political sphere, nor the religious freedoms, major differences in criminal law and criminal procedure, Shariah's rules on the legal status of women, and the way Shariah intervenes "in all spheres of private and public life". That being said, I also believe that this pertains to President Chavez, Kim Jong Il, and Bashar al-Assad.
