making it a corvette escape pod would be smaller then a small rebel transport, or a Imperial Frigate.
you would not have to worry about huge things dropped in on some one why not just speed the drop rate to fast and have come in like pod from bf 2142.
If its a little to much like BF2 Then well there be any supply's sent by a commander ?

dam that would not be good not having a commander is like walking backwards in gaming for any war type game the sad thing its suppose to have all this high tech to work with.

On the escape pod idea, I'm sure the Rebels can do far better than that.
