I don't want to make a new thread about this but I was justing thinking last night.
Ok, so the face on mars is actually a mesa, the leftover core of a volcano. That got me thinking, mars was once hot like earth once was. So wouldn't that mean that before it cooled to the temperature it is now it was once warm, like current day earth warm. We know from the mars probes that there is evidence of dried lake beds and microbes on mars. Anyways, at some point in the past mars was probably able to support life, and if it did there might be fossils buried on mars today. How awesome would it be if we found fossils on mars? It would be a 1000000 out of 10.

Arrgh, yar... arr ar arrgh!
