Definitely agree there.

This sums up why the E-Wing is too late to be used

A Galoofree Medium transport is this (picture is very large) http://images.wikia.com/starwars/images … _negvv.jpg

They were 90 metres long, so could never fit in a capship.

I agree, they're called AAC's/RAT's actually tongue

The YT-1300 is a good idea, other choices could be the http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Delta-cl … _transport
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Delta-cl … _transport
although the AAC fits the role perfectly.

Re: Shiplist on website

The YT-1300 is also almost exactly the same size as the Lambda shuttle (26 and 20 metres respectively). Wookiepedia states that the Rebels used some freight versions (essentially strppied out versions wth a large internal space). These could easily be modified with seats to become troop transports. The Lambda is described as being able to carry 20 troops, but I think both transports should carry 12, for two squads.

Lambda Shuttle:

Pilot: 2 fixed lasers
Co-pilot: controls 2 front steerable lasers (half turrets, can move but cant fire up or down much)
Gunner: controls rear turret
Passengers: 9 Internal Seats

YT-1300 TT (troop transport):

Pilot: 2 fixed lasers
Gunner: bottom turret
Gunner: top turret
Passengers: 9 internal.

Come to think of it, can you have more than 8 seats? There aren't enough keys otherwise...

Re: Shiplist on website

Standard arms for a YT-1300 was only 1 quad laser cannon (top mounted) wasn't it?

Re: Shiplist on website

Rebels used Lambda shuttles anyway.  Just give them Lambda shuttles.

Re: Shiplist on website

No LAATs and for the rebel transport, and I'd rather see a yt series transport instead of the lambda since the imperials may be using Lambdas of their own.

Though it would look better to fore go accuracy a little and use the delta transports since yt transports are a little big for boarding an enemy ship.

Re: Shiplist on website

I'm just gonna point out they probably already have this all decided. And tbh, the E-Wing is not too late to be used if they want it to be.
