Well from my point of view a LAAT isent to "practcal" because seeing somthing like the LAAT sitting beside an x-wing seems a little wierd, because we are all to used to seeing it in the prequals, and of course everything well...most everything is a much diffrent design from the prequal to the original, so thats kinda my view... I dont make to much sence do I, but mabie you get me.

Point is the Rebels did use it.

There's also no reason why we couldn't do a map with an E-Wing someday, mostly everything was the same in that time except the Rebs changed their name...

Laats would be fine if we were makin a remake of swbf2....but were not.

Wookiepedia only says rebels used em because they stuck em into the rebel faction in swbf2.... no need to tell you how accurate swbf1/2 was..

However, there is no other evidence to the contrary. Not to mention the obvious fact that there must have been rather a lot of them about after the clone wars.

While I agree that theres really no reason the rebs couldn't have them, I don't think they should. Or at least not in most situations. I don't really at all like the idea of mixing prequel gear with the civil war. I definetly bet this question has been decided, but I'd support a YT-series craft, either a 1300 or 2000, for the rebs.

Theres no evidense sayin that they didnt use anti gravity fluffy pink pillows as vehicles either. Point is including such things would wreck the mood of the era and mod.

Rebels got hold of Lambdas ,that we know of. Give me a choice of LAATs or Lambdas ..no need to tell you which is better and more relevant to the movies.
