Re: UAV model

I know why.  That site is a free Star Wars MMORPG.  I'm a Lieutenant in the Rebel Alliance in it.  However, due to some server troubles, they've been making a backup every night.  It's down while the backup is being made, nut it'll be back in under half an hour.  I strongly reccomend you all join, it kicks pie.  My ingame name is Andrew Kirk.

These two, the Sysat T-20 and the Sysat T-24 are both Star Wars sattelites, straight from the EU.

yeah, saw the page, if they are part of star wars galaxies, so why not, cause I think Lucasarts and maybe the big chief himself, need to give permission to use this ones, to stay authentic to the star wars universe

but some vehicles and such look very weird to be part of the star wars universe

Re: UAV model

I agree with you Dragunov, all of the vehicles in ep 1-3 don't fit with the vehicles in 4-6, especially those droid tanks from ep 1

Re: UAV model

Yeah, the Star Wars Combine game mixes both trilogies and almost the entire EU.

Most of the vehicles in Episoded I till III where predesicors (or how do u write this?) of the vehicles seen in episodes IV till VI, and some are completely vanished

Re: UAV model

Yes they were predecessors of the ep. IV-VI vehicles, but I don't think they did a very convincing job of designing them.  They all looked funky, like they didn't fit within the Star Wars universe's style of ship architecture.  You have to remember,  ep I wasn't that many years before ep. IV, maybe forty or so.  I don't think that the ship styles would have gone from that wacked out (ep. I) to the much more reserved, practical look of ep. IV in forty years.

Re: UAV model

Maybe most of the ships were destroyed and the engineers just created new ones, based on the old models, but with more power, shields, weapons, stability,....

Or maybe they were already under developement during Episode I till III, but never used in battle smile
