Really? Maybe it's the motion, but at first looking at your supplied photo I thought the air/space around the exhaust port looked like that shimmering effect you sometimes see during the summer. Usually representative of fumes I guess. Oh well, I don't care, I'm happy with the TIE period lol.

Wow nice find... Wierd how Ramseus Textured a spot for them but didn't add anything there... Maybe he just can't add the effect yet.

An engine glow effect would not be a part of texture, I believe it is added seperately.  Those "lights" are actually the TIE's engines hence the TIE (Twin Ion Engine) and are found on all TIE fighter types.  Good find, I don't think we would have caught that little detail.

I didn't know about that, but if I didn't I wouldn't have added it because it should be an effect - and the effects haven't been done yet.
