That would be much more interesting than a victory segment I posted above. You could probably code it similar to how the new UAV will be destroyed.

SPEAKING OF WHICH:

The actual UAV should be represented by the droids used by the Empire and ? for the Rebels?

Having AI controlled ships and transports would be AWESOME.  It'd add so much immersion to the map.

In the spirit of faithfulness to the movies, I think it would be "unrealistic" for the rebels to have a UAV on hoth.  They spotted the walkers approaching with those binocs, and with their long range planetary radars.  But in the interest of gameplay, maybe a stationary, camoflauged "scout" droid would be appropriate, I dunno tho, just an idea.

BTW, does anybody know if there will be a "UAV spotted" function once they make the UAVs visible?

Not necessarily a droid.

The rebel UAV could be a guy with a Tauntaun and macrobinoculars.

I was thinking about that, but I thought that something like that would be too visible and too vulnerable, although it would be really cool.

well, Luke thought he saw a meteorite crashing on the planet, but instead it was a probe droid, before he realised it was such a droid he was smashed by those creature

a probe droid saw the generator and informed the ISD...

the rebels scanned the universe and saw a Imperial fleet coming out of hyperspace and activated the shield, so an orbital bombardment was impossible and the Imperials had to perform a ground attack to destroy the shield generator

so the rebels expected a ground attack to their shieldgenerator, cause Han and Chewbacca destroyed such a Probe droid and the rebels knew the Empire knew their position and they started the escape, but to hold off the empire for some time, they did set a defence system
