Wedge may not directly use the force like a jedi, but there is no doubt that it guides him. He doesnt just fight against the enemy, he becomes them, he can see things before they happen. How else would he be able to get 2 deathstar runs (the only rebel pilot to live through both), an SSD, too many ISDs to count, and an innumerable amount of Tie fighters and other craft under his belt? He obviously has some special ability that surpasses even Luke.

Yes, and this is kinda my point - in the movies there were loads of TIE FIGHTERS and EMPERIAL SHIPS (including a slightly large Death Star)

Are you really suggesting that you would have a playable game/mod if you were true to the movies/lore and stacked things in the EMPIRE's favour hoping that the FEWER REBEL players in the FEWER REEBEL ships (even if they are handmade) will succeed in a multi player gaming environment with the same chance the rebels had!?!?!?! lol (we seem to agree that it was "the Force", the heroes, or Wedge that won the battles - how do you program this into a game?)

And to balance this are you really suggesting that you will have lots of easily destroyable TIE FIGHTERS - it would be great fun flying one of those and spend the whole game getting shot down and re-spawning, I wonder what team most people would go on! lol

In all seriousness, I know and appreciate that the FIRST STRIKE Team are giving the gameplay top billing and I think you are spot on in doing this

Don't be afraid to admit that you are "bending" lore to make a super playable, super fun game/mod - it is a good thing that you are big_smile
