I am Geral from the SWGEMU forums too, its neat and it shows potential. They still have a long ways to go but they've been testing animations and we've had 2 stress tests. Its slow in coming but it'll be nice when it is released, it can be modified to our liking.

So far the servers seem a lot more stable than the SOE servers.
Nobody likes a laggy game let alone pay for one.

Yes, I've known SWGEmu since its earlier debut but I never got my hands on a retail SWG copy. -.-

So if i get SWG in a Shop , I can play it for Free on this Server ? Or cant i patch it down and I have to get a old SWG from Ebay ?

yes when its released but you have to DL the right patches and go through the setup process

You MUST own a retail version of SWG in order to play.
As far as patched go, however, the servers and the Emu itself will provide the proper patches needed.
