haha tushe,
again life support systems I think I already saw touched on, although that does sound good I don't see much point.
If you want to keep realistic it would mean every other troops on the ship would suffer teh same sort of problem once they entered the ship, therefore everyone starts losing health. Battle just become shorter and it just gets in the way. Especially since I'm sure it takes quite a bit of programing tongue.

realistic it would be
any troops spawned on the ship with life support no longer working all have the life cut by 50%
that means Any troops get 50% life but only if they spawn there any that has not died before life support would still have full health     you can heal up 100% heath its just you would have to take time to do so

50% is too much, and now that I think about it I am not very fond of it anymore.

if the life support is blown up thats oxygen and atmosphere pressure. With that dissipating  your life, or any ones life we lose health its called life support.  If it goes a way then what do expect that you just get a icecream and every thing ok doky?

Its real then we lose the fun factor the P.R. mod can show you that.
One I don't know the where you going with this mod.
Thats why I asked there is no "this how it works for space" thread only gimps of one another on how things work.
If long the way I can give you all a new way idea then great if not o well hell I tried.

Its not realistic to lose half of your life. If theres no oxygen then you die, or you put on a suit with self supplied oxygen, its 100% or 0%, living or dead.

with air pressure in them. so it would give the imps a unfair advantage to the rebels.
and then again, this is a Star Wars mod. how can you expect there to be realism in it.
it only gets as real as in the movies and you never saw anyone die to the fact that the live support failed.
every death was done with the force, blasters or huge explotions.

going to far with realism will kill a game. and i cant see a way that putting somethign like this in wont.

Well the thing is your not exposed to the vaccum of space in witch your body would expand  till you riped your skin. (think Live or Let Die a old James Bond move in witch the main bad guy gets killed by a shark gun.) As for not have oxygen all gone thats not the case either you oxygen has not just vanished in to thin air. (mind the pun) It slowing going down (dissipating) that means your life is getting  harder to just breath. You can no longer run you would start to slow down then hyperventilate because your bodly would seek to have the same amount of air that your lungs were pulling in a few minutes a go. By the way I don't know the power of the weapons in the game If this makes it to hard then say  10% and, you can't run as well.  This would be area effect any one that spawns on the ship would have it. The medics in the game became even more important because Bacta fluid can fix any thing.

Well to be honest I dont think they do. I'm biger Fan of the books then the moves and stormtoopers
die in the vacuum of space a lot. The books get approval by the man who created star wars.
How can you expect there to be realism in it.Well yes I do in some way if some thing blows up in the
hero's face I expect to see a scar or something If by chance nothing is shown then there is a mistake or what called a plot hole in the story, unless the writer shows you some type mechanism
say Nanotechnology or, in this case the force shield, but if thats not made clear to the person Watching the move it lose it's appeal to the Watcher.  We all know its just a story but if you blow some thing up say life support and nothing happens what would say that every one has the force ?
just because it a story you got show how the world works or, it all falls a part or, is a  Japanese Kabuke
(Theater in witch you dont have show any thing how the world works).
