USA, Texas, it sucks, moved here 2 1/2 years ago. Hated everyday of it, if you get a chance to deny taking a trip here, take it, it will make you feel good rejecting this state. I'm not a Texan I am a Californian... And thats where I'd like to be FSDev| RedMonkey999 wrote:I was just bored and curious. Tell me what its like where you live. I live in seattle. It rains a lot, but right now it's sunny. We have a lot of traffic on the roads here, and there are Starbucks on every corner (no joke ).
I hear Seattle has hte highest suicide rate, probably because its usually gloomy and rainy

I live in Texas also! But I find it amazing, the only people I consistently hear not like Texas are Californians. But Texas is good weather, not too cold, not too hot, a little humid, not to rainy.

.... Freezing temperatures in December and January but almost complete lack of snow = suck Humid summers with temperatures of over 100-110 degrees into august = suck Rains lasting into mid summer ruins vacation plans = suck No In-N-Out = suck Yea I would mush rather live where the temperature never went below 50 and never went above 105, not dreadfully humid and usually sunny all year round with a coastal breeze to cool things off if its hot.

Re: Where do you live, and what's it like there?
Rural region about 10 kilometers from Bergen, Norway. Thinly populated, mountains, forests, fjords, boats. Worst problem is that it's a 45 minutes bus ride to my high school, and that lots of rain + climate change = traffic jams, floods damaging properties, and too many landslides, a couple of which have even killed people. Best part of it... don't know. Having a fjord hundred meters from your house in one direction and a hiking-fit mountain a hundred meters in the opposite direction is nice . Lived in the Houston suburbs from '01 to '04. It was great. Loved to have everything but school within five to ten minutes walking distance .

It's this place called Cedar Park, near Austin. The mountains are waaay too far away, unless you are talking about these pansy mountains, aka hills. The beaches are warm, but flat with no good waves or anything to have fun in, unless yo have a 3 year old who just wants to splash in the water. Woodlands ehh, what state doesn't have a forest of some sort? Urban.. oh please. And whats so great about the plains? This is making me miss my native state REAL mountains on the east side, real beaches on the west. Plains in Central Cali, Redwood forests north, Channel Islands..... (Cries)
