Re: Ongaku

That's pretty cool that you had the initial idea to this flash game I think. I thought it was pretty fun and original in itself while I was playing.

I really liked the idea that the background gets colored in with the more you complete each song. Really I just saw it on there and checked it out on my own without even knowing this.. I did vote it 5 though. wink Anyways congratulations on winning.

I do have a question though, who comprises of "we"?

Re: Ongaku

"We"? Well that'll be Smashmouth Games.

Well it has been a long time coming, hell took me long enough to hunt down this thread, can't believe it was that long ago that we came up with the initial concept and produced the Flash prototype, heck I've worked as a contract artist on 3 released games since back then.

yikes

But finally the full version of Ongaku is out there to download for PC, head over to the Smashmouth website and check it out, the game has lots of interesting additional features such as the facility to use your own music and imagery to generate levels which have really added a lot of bells and whistles to the old girl since the initial concept. Download the demo and check it out, if you like that buy the full version and add a few pennies to my royalty cheque.

lol cool lol
