SWBF2 is a sequel to a copy of a mod of a game, why would the devs want FS to be a mod copy of a sequel of a copy of a mod of a game? tongue

well personally I liked swbf2 when it first came out the space battles were good and you had some kool manuvers and heros of course which most would say are overpowered but alas it is all but dead now of course with soo few of servers up with people on them

That was a lie.  It's in my hands tongue

But anyhow, there's no desire to be SWBF3 here.  That said, there are gameplay elements which may be similar.  There are also gameplay elements which are similar to other mods and games of today also.  We've attempted to take the best ideas from different sources to put together this game, avoiding all the pitfalls of our predecessors but building on their strengths.

I still have no desire to even try out swbf2. From what I seen they did a super awful job with swbf1 and instead of fixing it or even finishing it, they rapidly worked on swbf2. That right there made me lose respect for them to even consider buying anymore of their products unless i tested them.
