ooo then I see we are going to use the ACTUAL size of the ISDs.... very cool, but I'm scared there might be a bunch o lag with all the detail put in that thing...  The titans alone produce enough lag already.

Most probably the SD will only feature in space maps ..so hopeully the lag wont be too bad.

The smaller versions will probably be used for some ground maps.

The VSD is a nice ship but nothing says more SW than an Imperial Star Destroyer.

An ISD is supposed to be 1.605 meters long ("a bit larger than one and a half kilometer" for the "no nerds").
Just for comparison an average aircraft carrier from the US Navy is 333m long.

Now the question is how long is a BF2142 map?
And what is a scaling factor that nobody is going to notice?
In WW2 the Brits tricked us, Germans, with models of tanks and planes that were one third smaller than the actual vehicle.
