Bah, to be honest there's no snow in Bergen in September either. Nor in August. Or October. Or November. Or... sigh.

Not in Bergen. It's a southern city, and it's by the coast. Well, sometimes there is snow, but it's become something of a rare occurrence recently, and it usually comes later in winter. Things are better the farther north and the higher up in the mountains you get.
