The mod will likely be released on all the usual dowload sites LucaFiles/fileplanet/Filecloud as well as our sponsers Hyper Arena/4uServers so a torrent is pretty much a given I would say.

Releasing a torrent in advance is always a good idea, especially when its something really anticipated.

I got another idea just popped in my mind. When releasing the mod remember to include direct download link EA store for BF2142, since MANY people will buy the game just for this. Intense Release trailer wouldn't be bad also, you might saw what it did with DCon mod. (The mod got almost nothing inside, but trailer was pure awesomeness!) Clever marketing is the key to succes. smile

there's one problem with "pre-releasing" the mod as a password protected torrent.

I beleive the developers are not going to finish the mod, then wait for a release date.

When it is done, they will release it... that doesn't give you any time for a pre-release.
