Have you patched Battlefield 2142 to 1.5 ?
EA / DICE have released the Patch 1.5 for BF 2142 two days ago, maybe you have try to connect tod a Server what was already patched to 1.5

i have windows vista just incase you wanna know.Everytme I join a server on First strike, it loads completely and the "deploy" button omes up too but i get kicked out of the server before i can click it  and it says some crap about this map is is not meant for modded users so go and convert back to BF2142

Hi everyone, I had an older account on the forum but I lost it...

I want too to play FS.

I have BF2142 up to 1.50 alright and my Pc is strong enough to run it even at high settings.

Now, could somebody write step-by-step what one needs to do in order to play FS? Just DL the 1.2 file-thing and run it? I searched a bit but I found no answers, sorry.

1) Download First Strike 1.2 Client Full
2) Run
3) Download FS 1.25 hotfix
4) Run
5) Launch BF2142 -> Community -> Custom Games -> First Strike
    (or just double-click the First Strike icon on your desktop)
6) Enjoy! big_smile
