The worse part is that there are no sounds in any of the maps of fellow soldiers talking ( making requests, spotting the enemy etc.) the only sounds in the game are the fighter engins and the guns/nades firing. i also noticed that the guns seem to all have their barrels bent. they shoot insanely inaccurate. maybe i need to play some more, maybe i missed something but the gragics looked totally un-detailed and the town buildings all looked the same. iv been playing a lot of battlefield 2 project reality lately so maybe i am just use to weapons that work and increadable grafics and buildings that can be destroyed. I think the first strike guys have a great idea and it is differant from any other mod i have played but i feel like i am going back to the atari days with the lack of detail in grafics. also, why do the soldiers run like someone in a silent fim???????
atari? lol if thats the case maybe its time for a little ol' upgrade hmm?
. Either way , thats abit harsh dont you think?
Na, they arnt the best ,sure.. but you should realise that alot of our textures artists (and modellers etc for that matter) werent as good when they 1st joined. Alot of us have learnt whilst we made the mod. Everything in the mod is custom . In all honesty i havent seen a better looking full conversion mod as yet and we'll be improving the GFX over the coming monthes.
Comparing us to PRmod is basically comparing us to DICE cos PRmod is just bf2 with code changes (i love PRmod aswel btw) , which is a little unfair to the guys here on the mod.
I agree that the weapons are too inaccurate tho.
Bear in mind this is just the 1st release of many. This 1st one being an open beta basically.
PS. dunno what you're talkin about with the silent film running :S
PPS. Sounds are fine btw. You have your VO's set to english only , thats why you dont hear any
