You hit Print Screen, and the screenshot is saved in your My Documents/Battlefield 2142 (or something)/screenshots directory. Nice and simple.

Oh, and if anyone's interested in how I made the screenshot I just posted, I went into the game, spawned as a Trooper, turned Battlerecorder on, and went into the different positions and stances seen in the picture. I then opened the recording and hovered the camera over the site as I played the recording and took screenshots of each pose. Then I went into Paint and chose the best pictures, and finally pasted them together into one picture.
