The current version of the single player mod works with 1.4.    The new maps have too many objects that currently don't have bot support.  I am currently working with some team members on creating bot support for the tatooine objects to be able to fully support those maps first.   In the meantime, I may add some of the new vehicles into the current bot supported maps.

I cant get this working, do i extract it to the battlefield 2142\mods\bf2142\levels or the FirstStrike levels folder ?

This is installed as a new mod.   You should install into your \mods folder to set up the mod as \FS_SP
