What map are you trying it on? I find that I can't use any of the 2142 maps, only the FS one. Maybe if you try to use the mos entha map it might work? Other than that I cannot give any other suggestions I'm afraid smile

Do you have First Strike installed and can you start up a First STrike map in local conquest?

UPDATE:

Local conquest works great...  it lists all the Firstrike Maps and they work fine.  Just no BF 2142 Maps available for single player mode and the Entha map goes right to the desktop...

Make sure you switch to the FS_SP mod

Ok not sure I'm doing this right..

1st try: Installed the V 1 (and later V. 1b) and tried to play - nadda

2nd try: Removed the Firststrike Folder from the Mods folder just leaving the FS_SP folder in there.  The game crashed to desktop as soon as I hit Single player..

Both mods have to be installed, but you run with FS_SP mod.    You also need to be using 1.25 patch for BF2142.   The 1.4 patch is beta.
