i have had the problem on escape form hoth as well.  I set my view distance to 100% and did a reinstall with a restart and it seemed to work.....

I should have put this in the Client support forums earlier.
Yes, setting your view distance to 100% will fix any 'blackout' issues you have with our space maps. Thee is no need to reinstall, just adjust your settings.

I had to go through and reset my video settings.  Using the default 'Medium' or 'High' and then adjusting to taste seemed to work fine, at least in my case.

hi, i played escape from hoth and had no problem with black screen etc.

dude, when we say "black screen" we mean by when we are in the hanger of the star destroyer and you can barely see more than 3 feet in front of you. Devs, is it possible if you guys can up the gamma in the star destroyer hanger in the hot fix?
