I agree, the LAN start server crash appears in BF2142 too.

Wach, this happens on my PC:

-Start BF2142, go to LAN select a map, click Start = Crash to desktop.

Well...now try this:

-Start BF2142, go to Multiplayer join a server, no proplem...

Now without close BF2142:

-Go to LAN select same map of the server u join before, click start = load map and play !!

Well the second time i start a LAN it work becouse the map r ready loaded on RAM, i not sure if the problem r of BF engine or my PC ¿? , anyway dont its a problem of FS.

This may be a bit too obvious but are you guys selecting the right game mode?

The default was Assault Lines for me I think...

Make sure its on conquest?

That is becouse u have Northen strike booster pack, the default its conquest, and 2142 crash anyway, i start twice modes and get crash, if i dont loaded the map on ram.

No, I don't have the booster pack. And I have never downloaded anything liek a beta for it or the 1.4 beta patch either...
