Someone should be able to control the capital ships eg: commanders.
And some people control the cannons of the ships, and when the tantive gets damaged enough it stalls and then the commander of the star destroyer can then dock with the tantive!! and then a inside of ship battle, but on the rebels case they can damage the docking doors below the star destroyer and then land some people using escape pods inside the star destroyer and then destroy the vital systems inside and then evac out!!

I think the 1st strike creators would be able to do a excellent job on this!!

yes but as they said this would make for some gigantic lag issues, they've already worked the idea out, but found things they couldn't overcome(lag for instance), I rea this all in one of their first development posts....

though it's a shame it couldn't be done... on the other hadn you could go look for battlefront 2 wink

But in all seriousness, a corridor battle is NOT impossible. And I would be willing to bet that one will be created someday.

I would love to see corridor battles. maybe grenades should be removed though or something. i could see it just being them used with explosions everywhere and nothing gets done.

Corridor battles were awesome in GC. You had ISD Judicator, cap ship boarding, that space station with the TIE Avengers you had to find and destroy with detpacks.

Problem with lag -> Reduce view distance and just don't implement too many long, straight corridors. Worked with ISD Judicator.
Problem with grenades -> Remove grenades for that map.

I remember the ISD Judicator map that was good with the rail like vehicles that you used to traverse along part of it.  That would be one map I'd love to see re-made for first strike!
