Very nice.

DL was fine from the first link.  Install was smooth.

Played 3 rounds of Endor with not one issue.

Played Hoth as well.  Both maps smooth as silk.  Can't wait to get on Tatooine map now.

I had this exact same problem - uninstalling and reinstalling didn't help, but what eventually worked was:
Uninstall first strike.
Restart
Install First Strike 1.0
Restart
Install patch.

hmm,....
I installed the 1.1 patch but got modificati errors.
ill try removing and reinstalluing but im trying on Gamerena 9 and it let me in with the 1.0 version but not with the 1.1.
strange.
