Re: force users

I'm agree with "no Jedis".
Take the example of StarwarsGalaxies for those who have played it : since the Jedis class is available the "world" is full of Jedis, every character have a Lightsaber in his hand...

Yeah and especially when the game timeline takes place during the peak times of the Galactic Empire. The Jedi were extinct and now they start popping up like mushrooms during rain. Tsk tsk.

Re: force users

I'd certainly like to see Luke/Vader, Leia or Han/Boba on some maps too. I know you're not allowed to use persons from the movies, too sad. Having Han or Leia on Entha and for the Imps Boba, or Luke and Vader on Hoth would be nice. They could be playing as commanders. They have to remain hidden until things get messed up, before they have to act strictly as a commander. Ordering squads to attack certain flags and so on. But if you are about to lose, they could be able to use their advanced abilities (1000% health non-healable, Sabre-strike or advanced blaster for Han/Leia, cloaking ability maybe on a 5 minutes timer) to get a flag. Noob-commanders will certainly waste their Jedi early in the round to have fun on the battlefield but the others would use them wisely. The enemy commander (Vader or Boba) has to make the same decision to either attack the Jedi or Han/Leia or remain hidden until their time has come. I would definately fear an iconic person on the battlefield. But again, withering-fire and well placed "UAVs" will mean the certain "end" of a Jedi's day. Ok, ok I'm dreaming and I do have Battlefront 2 but I love your representation of Star Wars much more. (graphics, gameplay, weapons and gadgets). Maybe some day one of the Devs becomes force-sensitive, who knows. smile

Re: force users

Whilst everyone gets the point aboput no force users, you must admit he has a cool idea to implement The Force if someone were to use jedi vs sith. smile

Re: force users

Or why not to put a hero for both side. But just one player could play the hero randomly like Battlefront 2. However, I prefer a good infantry fight/dogfight than having Jedi first.

Re: force users

Having Heroes as a non-combatant(eg:commander role) is an interesting idea more so to just see them in the game, but id deffinately not want to see them as a 'playing' class.
