how huge and awesome would it be to see and be apart of a ground battle on hoth.

I think that judging from the posts here, it'll be one of the mod's biggest selling points once out. Meanwhile, there's always laguinere's Hoth version, with everything working but AT-ATs and snowspeeders. It's better than nothing and actually a bit fun smile .

snow speeders, tontons and big mounted gun, heaps of troops killing.....

Have to disagree with you on the tauntauns, I don't want to see a single one anywhere near the battlefield. They were used by scouts and patrols prior to the battle, not during the battle itself. Seriously, charging an assault group spearheaded by half a dozen AT-AT walkers on tauntauns would be tantamount to attacking a low-flying Correlian Corvette with a flight of Sopwith Camels. And anything with legs is hard to make anyway, so I don't think they'd be worth the hassle.

i still think it would be cool that since the imperials have walkers, if they won the hoth ground part, it would immediately load up escape from hoth with the same team and point, thats what you call cinematic

That's entirely up to the server admins. Hopefully they'll add the Hoth maps so that they play in order.

too many AT-AT = crashes
tow cables = noobs who cant shoot & kill
a place where rebels could get in the AT-AT and kill the people inside there = O_o Thight
