Re: IT-O Droid

I managed to have 2 droids. I had one and I was killed, when I was revived I was able to make another. I wonder if I could have like an army of 20 of em.

Re: IT-O Droid

I believe you have to deploy them in the immediate area of the enemy for it to track them(20-30m).

I sadly got killed by one.  I was low on health in a crossfire; jump to cover--still taking damage.  I wip around and see the little bugger chasing me as I back peddle and shoot.  In the end he over took me, I suppose.  They must have a range of like two feet or so.

I looked up for the name/kill--didn't see it.  Although, it was a populated server and it was ticking pretty fast.

You can set them to defend a location?

They always just follow me around.

And couldn't the droids just follow the same rules as the attack bots for squad leaders in 2142, you get points for those.

yeah thats exactly what i was thinking!  i wonder why they dont make it something like that, especially for the droids that literally shoot lasers (i think rebel trooper kit)

Re: IT-O Droid

Has anybody had a problem as a rebel with the rebel equivalent of the droids attacking your squadmates/teammates medical droids?

I noticed it happing a few times yesterday, ended up me having to kill it.

My Imp one also attempted to kill me and I had to destroy it too.

Re: IT-O Droid

if you look at your squadmates medical droids, they sometimes have a RED sign for a medic box, meaning its some "enemy deployable"... i think that causes the bug

If anyone stand close to the Imp one, you will be hurt, but it doesnt go around chasing you.  As for the rebel one, i've heard of people being killed by them, probably they were in the crossfire of the lasers.

Btw, i found out how useful it was to deploy the imp droid in combat areas, it is awesome how it seeks out enemies, and is epscially useful against snipers and people behind cover, its so awesome watching them on their bellies taking the damage, not knowing how they are getting hurt tongue
