Re: Moving in capital ships?

I would love interiors. Put battlefront to shame.

Yeah, if not likely, i still hope it will appear. That was a huge part of space battles for me in GC.

Nope.

You guys will get interiors of ships that I can almost promise you, BUT they will NOT be on moving capitol ships or corvettes.

Well, i think it's possible, you never know what might happen.

It's not technically possible to implement it on smaller ships like Corvettes, Nebulons, or Carracks without it being horrible.  Ty is right in this; it's not the BF1942 engine anymore, and it's a pain but that's just how it is from a development standpoint.

That said, large, titan-scale slow moving ships are possible, but they would not be able to change orientation whatsoever.  Kind of lame.

I'd rather see static object type motherships like the ISD with an interoir, and a Calamari Cruiser with interior.  They'd have to be stationary however.

Re: Moving in capital ships?

Well ISDs and Calamaris would have no choice but to be stationary, most likely (unless we get bigger maps...) because they are so huge if they could move they would most likely go out of bounds before they could turn around to get away from it. Now is one thing everyone is talking about in the explorable small ships that if it turned upside-down for example, you would not fall? Technically wouldn't that be true, since in space there IS no gravity and ships use artificial gravity to hold people to the floors, so if it turned upside-down then the AG would hold you down, wouldn't it?
