Well they also have cloaking tech in Star Wars, so they may have countermeasures for that sorta thing.

Yeah, and in the Star Wars universe, cloaking devices are nigh-unheard of on small ships!

Cloaking tech in SW is much less tactically benificail than cloaking in ST. ST cloaks allow for the ship cloaked to see and such (shields are generally down), SW cloaks offer a double blind cloak which makes the user also unable to see the area infront of them.

In anycase the Crystal Graviton Array (something like that) is the Empire's response to cloaks. They detect the mass shadow of vessels in cloak.
