hmmm thats weird because i have an ATI radeon 9550 video card, and i have been reading up on peoples comments on other websites, and it says they run it on that card... i am confused. my question is why did the demo run so perfectly well without any problems, but the full game wont? that makes no sense

Yea thats weird, I dunno. That happened me once before on bf2 demo but it just fixed itself.:/

because it is a ATI card and you need 1 specific driver for every game?
search there site for the driver made for cod4.
trun your ingame settings to the lowest of the lowest, but after reinstalling it.
also disable any other programm that need directx to run. (personal experiance: could change settings due to xfire making cod4 give directx fatal errors)
