Re: Battlerecorder files

Here you go, a great game I had with JaFaR on the Endor map. Great defense of Imperial Outpost. sorry it took so long. Trying to upload the rest of them now.

Here's the rest of them. Enjoy! smile

Re: Battlerecorder files

Zip file with every one of them uploaded (see above post). Some of them are just short ones I made to test things, take screenshots, or make short movies, but there's lots of gameplay there, too.

Important: I remembered after uploading them that some of the clips were made using alpha testing builds and other mini-mods and can't be run with 'Vanilla FS', so if FS crashes while loading a clip, that's why. Sorry for forgetting that sad .

Re: Battlerecorder files

Shouldn't you be able to have those recorded straight to your harddrive?  I'm still wondering about this as well since I'm still new to BF2142 by only a few months.  Only reason I got BF2142 is because of FIRST STRIKE!!!

If you host the server, you can record shots yourself, and those are saved to your disk. If you don't host the server, though, it's the server that does the recording, and you'll have to download the clip from the web.

Re: Battlerecorder files

DS Gaming is the only one that comes up with BR enabled for me and its never busy when I am on. There was a great game on Wolf last night, pity I forgot to set Fraps during all the commotion! Thanks again for the files Keeper I'll make sure to credit you in the movie!

By the way, Merry Christmas to all! Woohoo! Christmas EvE!

im pretty sure its just on your game, i don't have much experience with BR though tongue

What do you mean by drop?

Re: Battlerecorder files

If the game crashes when you hit 'Deploy', you may have a BattleRecorder file made with another version of FS. For example, I imagine that if you made a recording with the first release of FS, then installed the hotfix, the recording may not work anymore for you unless you revert your FS install to before the hotfix, or perhaps create a copy of FS which you don't patch, solely for playing those recordings.

In short, you need to play the recording with the same mod and mod version you used to record it with. Sad, but true.
