See, THIS is what people want, not lightsabers...duh. How could I have not realized that. And I'll tell ya, its true. We have quite a couple of people in my clan that we like to refer to as 'point whores' Finished everything in 2142? well yeah! CoD4 and its ranks and TF2 and its ranks just came out!

Good move though. I know it wont entirely solve the problem, but you should make it so they have to be in a squad to get the awards. Make it they can ONLY earn them while in squads...Like you cant do stuff alone then join a squad to get the awards...

And I just got a couple new ideas!

#1...For the in game thingamowhosit ranking...Could you possibly use the field upgrade feature to utilize this?

#2...REALLY want more players? I know what would make quite a few VERY happy...Include the dogtags for melee kills! That would draw alot of attention...Design a new one though if you can...something more star wars-y.

First Strike is the MOST lore accurate star wars game ever made.  How can you say make it more Star Warsy like when it is more star warsy than anything else out there.

I doubt 3 years of work will go down the drain so we could be more like lucas arts and destroy lore.

You misunderstand me...

I meant include dogtags, but redesign them from the BF2142 ones so that the dogtags look like dogtags out of star wars.

I dunno what you think I meant...lol

Amen, Omen. wink First Strike blows every other Star Wars game out of the water when it comes to lore accuracy. Which is quite pathetic that LucasArts can't even come close all these years. The official Lucas Star Wars games company. roll This being said, First Strike still maintains an excellent balance in gameplay. A Star Wars game for gamers, by gamers. lol

I'm REALLY liking the new ranked system, but unlocks would definately be the perfect incentive to move up in the ranks (aside from having some wicked good fun). I am now officially RABID for FS v1.2. tongue
