Will we ever see air transports? You have no idea how much I want to fly an LAAT gunship. And we know its era correct because of its use in BF 2. And if you could get the interior details from Republic Commando... Anyway yes or no on the Transport?

To list all the things that were incorrect from a lore perspective in Battlefront 2 would take way more time than I care to give right now. It's enough to say that there was a lot of inaccuracies in there, and I can assure you that the Rebellion did not use LAATs as troop transports, nor were they space worthy.

And to answer your question we will be working on transports in future including the Imperial Lambda class shuttle and  the Sentinel, and some Rebel equivalents.
