Stardestroyerarecool, the Zann Consortium is a non-canon group made up by Lucas Arts. I believe this mod is based on being as canon as possible, so I'm pretty sure they wouldn't make it in this mod. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm almost positive that the Zann Consortium did not exist before EaW FoC.

And I agree that droids are really boring and unorginial.

I don't think that 2-3 sucked (1 had too much Jar-Jar...).  And I loved the droid battles.  Trade Federation ftw (Galactic Battlegrounds RTS)

I've liked all the films *almost* equally... Except Episode 1.

If someone wants to model a battledroid, export it and get it ingame, then by all means go for it... That's kinda how any mod gets started... basics first.  Our first rounds of testing on 2142 were just guns and troopers I think....

PS what was wrong with episode one? Although I haven't watch it in a while, I thought it was the only good one of the prequel trilogy, due mostly to the absence of that hideous creature named Hayden Christensen

*Jar Jar
*Hayden 'I show no emotion' Christiansen
*The fact that Jar Jar and Hayden Christiansen can be both put in a single list
*Midi
*f*ing
*chlorians
*I mean, WTF mate?
*Only one scene with Natalie Portman looking hot, namely when half her clothes have been ripped off in Attack
*Darth Maul/Ray Parks getting his pie kicked
*Death Star plans don't match the ones in New Hope =P
*Not enough James Earl Jones
*Hayden 'I killed them. The Women. And the Children' Christiansen getting to wear Vader costume
*Hayden 'I kill you Padme!!' Christiansen has now been shooped into Jedi
*Sebastien Shaw was concurrently shooped out of Jedi
*No awesome space battles in I&II, and too little shown of the one at beggining of Sith
*Terrence Stamp didn't say 'Kneel before Zod'
*Who thought up the name 'Count Dooku'? I mean, come on, far too obvious
*Bobas voice was changed as a result
*Emperor Hologram in Empire changed as a result
*Threepio's Silver leg changed as a result
*General Grievous sucked balls

Yeah there were some good parts, but mostly from the good actors...especially the awesome British ones.

But otherwise, why people hating on Battlefront II? I thoroughly enjoyed it. And considering this mod get's inspiration from that series, seems a bit misplaced.

I loved the first Battlefront, but come on, 2 was a disapointment. I played the first one for years, but couldn't hack the second one for more than a month or two before I got bored with it. I think the main problems were that it didn't progress the game forward enough from the first one, and the new innovative features like the space battles felt whoefully tacked on and substandard.

Hopefully the 3rd one in the series will suceed where I feel the second failed.

And for your information First Strike certainly does not draw its inspiration from that game, more totally the opposite. The only thing the 2 games have in common is that they are both big battle first person shooter war sims set in the Star Wars universe. First Strike draws its inspiration from the Star Wars movies NOT Star Wars Battlefront. That is like saying Battlefield 1942 inspired Call of Duty because they are both set in WW2.
