But seriously- hitting the 9 key causes you to grab a droid with both hands- jump off a building for some gliding. Would make an awesome new way for rebels to infiltrate Imperial outpost- jump off the ATAT docks! Though for balance sake they'd be gliding slowly...sitting ducks... hovering there...

Creative and humorous idea, I have to give you that, but first of all, I still find parachuting off of buildings silly and detrimental to game play. Secondly, like parachutes, it was not done by regular troops - Adumarians and their planet aren't in-game (though I'd love to have them big_smile !), and only Qui-Gon Jinn is shown using a droid as a parachute.

No. Base raping, base jumping, base rafting and base wrestling are all detrimental to gameplay.

Only real map where a Parachuet function would be use full, would be Ender Strike Team.
