For me it depends on the server settings (weapons being grayed out). If nothing is grayed out, I'll usually be an Imperial medic with the DLT.

I like to play SL so I take whatever I feel the squad needs, half the time that is Officer.

More people need to listen and take kits the SL tells you to take.

Officer, Trooper, Heavy Weapons with PTL if needed.  I play medic from time to time if our squad is really lacking a medic, but never really use Support.

At the beginning of a round, if I feel like I have listeners, I give a list of players and kits I want them to use. You just haven't been there I guess tongue AIX is getting in the way I say.
