Vanilla games are the original core games, plain if you like. Booster and expansion packs, mods and conversions are not vanilla. For me, FS is Ben & Jerry's Cherry and Chocolate Chip, because I really like it!

Indeed, I've always found that my K/D ratio is inversely proportional to the server latency, so I always go for the lowest ping server I can find. I usually jump on RT's server because they very kindly allow me to jump on Vent with them also, and even when it's empty, it usually gets going within 30 minutes.

No offence, but I don't want to play on a server that give's me a latency of around 130-140ms. I know it's playable (I've seen enough of you playing with that sort of lag on RT), but I don't enjoy it nearly as much as playing at <50ms.

I'm really sorry- I should realy have been clearer, that was sarcasm back there when I pretended to be unaware that there even was a Vanilla 2142...
I know very well what vanilla means.

BTW if no one was aware, we have a Vent server up that is free for everyone playing FS to use.

My fav is Chocolate ice cream eaten with tortilla chips and salsa! its a great combo!

Back on topic..I hope people dont take this mod for granted and just give up, that would be a shame after 3 years of work on it.

Don't be silly. A small slump could be due to anything, notably summer holidays this time of year. Distance from a computer can do that kind of thing.

Summer is coming up so i guess less people will play it, but i'm sure it will be packed in the winter. And there are locals here that play the mod daily. It's the best sw mod ever.
