Hm, it's like discovering a full functional fleet of old dreadnoughts...

About old & obsolent...
Nowdays most Military Hardware has a life of more than 20 or 30 years and is regulary updated.
The German Airforce flys still the Phantom, and the US Navy has only recently droped the old F14 Tomcat.
And don't forget the Imperium has a "mass, not class" Philosophie for Military Hardware.
The TIEs aren't better then the old obselent CloneWars fighters... they are cheaper and more numerous, against weaker and smaller Forces (compared to the Droids) a good concept.
If anyone makes a Clone Wars Expansion ( remember, models for Droids & Clone Troopers needed! ) these Maps should have a total different feeling compared to the Episode 4-6 Battles.
For example no Defibrilators for the Droids but faster Spawntimes to reflect the large numbers of droids.
