you do recall correctly. Its an upgrade in 2142 and just happens in BF2, but it's sillyness.

Note that I agreed that it's not such a great idea, I'm just making notice that it wouldn't be the first time something like that has happened.

And it is sillyness. That's why no one should play Vanilla and all of its shenanigans.
