Aye, I was just doing my best to rally the troops on that map, but as I saw all our capital ships meandering all over the place on the mini map and the Rebel Fleet coming in in a clasic tight formation I knew we were screwed before the battle had really even begun. I just remember seeing that and thinking, 'This is going to hurt.'

Take note people, keep your capital ships together and follow orders in space maps. If you are unorganised and the opposite team have their sh*t together that map can be over before you know it.

Despite getting our arses handed to us on that map it was just stunning to see that wave of ships and laserfire coming at us, truly epic, and the Death Star was beyond sweet, those towers don't half go down quick with wave after wave of Rebel starfighter squadrons sinking their torps into them. Just a cracking Star Wars gaming experience beyond compare. Get your stereo out tonight and have a little John Williams playing in the background and I challenge you to find a better more immersive Star Wars gaming experience anywhere.

Yeah Woody, that was one of the best rounds Ive ever had, not from a points standpoint but just overall fun and teamplay. We had a fantastic squad that followed orders, even if it meant defending a lonely flag by themselves.

THe cycles of action seem to be becomming nightly instead of weekly.
I suggest you guys slow down and dont play so much first strike ...
If this keeps up, I will find myself wearing my star wars halloween costume everynight, and chasing the cats through the house with my toy lightsaber, after each battle ...

Yup, cap ships need to stay together. As I wrote in the other thread, if everyone does their own thing space combat becomes boring and pointless. However, FS has no better way to amaze you than a proper fight in Taloraan. Full 64p server + 64p Taloraan + both teams manning all their cap ships and forming fleets + those fleets going at it head-on + fighters whizzing about = Unrivaled Star Wars space combat experience.

The games were fun, although a bit one-sided
