I suppose it may help if you get a copy of the actual FS mod folder from someone else, instead of an installer for it?

I have no clue if that will work, and you will still need to make a shortcut so the mod loads properly.

Would that work? I'd try it just to check.

Ormindo, I will create an installer of the same method as the 1.25 installer when I return home from this vacation.  I had the same issues that you're having with the R1 to 1.15 installer that Woodrow created using the same method as this, so I feel your pain.  The only thing I can tell you is, keep trying.  That's how I got it to work for me.  I ran it probably 100 times before it'd get past the hang point.  Also, in the task manager giving the patcher process higher priority seemed to help it move farther.
