404 Error means you could not find the download server.  Probably were having internet problems at the time.

For those using Deluxe edition of 2142, there has been found an issue.  I'll be trying to sort it before the beta begins.

Yep, its asking me to put in the 2142 disc... i have a deluxe disc.
I can launch from the original launch icon though- and the updater seems to update, just not launch.

If you had issues with deluxe edition, please download link in first post again.  I have updated it with a fix for deluxe players.

Beta files are now up.  You can grab them by pressing File > Check for Updates or simply hitting launch.  The Beta server is also up.  Official testing will commence at 1800GMT on Friday, but feel free to test on your own smile
